  EHS Eagle Band welcomes new band director!

Etowah High School and especially the Etowah Band Community would like to welcome, Michael Foxworth, our new Band Director, coming to us from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.



  Band Dates to Remember

  • July 2—End of Color Guard  Camp
  • July 14-16  Rookie (9—12),  Leadership  (1-3)
  • July 20—24  ALL Band Camp ( 1—8. BRING DINNER)
  • July 24   End of Band Camp Social—All Band Members and Parents invited!
  • July 25—   DCI Event
  • July 28 and 30—  Full Band Rehearsal (6-9 pm)

Congratulations Etowah Eagle Band!

Once again, Congratulations are in order to our marching band. The drum majors, color guard, drum line, and band were awarded straight superior ratings, in addition to second place at the Creekview Classic Marching Festival held at this past weekend. In this competition, our band scored higher than eight other bands and barely missed winning first place by only three tenths of a point. The drum line won best in class, color guard won second in class, and drum majors won second in class honors.

Congratulations to our Etowah Eagle Marching Band. The drum majors, color guard, drum line, and band were awarded straight superior ratings, in addition to second place in the Warrior Invitational Marching Festival held at Gordon Central High School this past weekend. In this competition, our band scored higher than ten other bands, two of them from Cherokee County, and barely missed winning first place by only eight tenths of a point. The band will be competing at the Creekview Classic held at Creekview High School on this Saturday at 3:40 in the afternoon.
